Company conference rooms
Company conference rooms are the physical rooms in your offices — a table, chairs and a door. People book them from an in-person meeting room, from a device in the conference room, a door tablet or a QR scan. A conference room is company-wide unless you attach it to a department, and you can attach it at any time.
A conference room is a place you book for a meeting. The meeting's own Qik room keeps the chat, recording and minutes.
Every member can open Company conference rooms and see every room. Company owners, admins and org-structure admins switch conference rooms on, add rooms and choose which departments use them.
How to turn on conference rooms
- Open Company settings.
- Under Workplace, select Company conference rooms.
- Turn on Use conference rooms. Rooms can then be added, company-wide or under a department, and everyone can book them.
This is the same switch as in Organization structure, so the two always agree.
How to add a conference room
- Under All conference rooms, select New conference room.
- Enter a name — the only required field. You can also add the address, building and floor, the number of seats and the table layout.
- Select Create conference room.
To see every room, select Open beside the room count.
How to choose which departments use conference rooms
Under Departments · Conference rooms, each department has a switch, with its number of rooms and how many are free now.
- Turn a department on to let its people book there.
- Turn a department off to pause new bookings there and hide its rooms. The rooms and the bookings already made are kept.
Select the arrow beside a department to open its conference rooms.
Prime Office, Business Office and Enterprise include two conference rooms. AI Office Pro has no limit.
