Transcripts

Every recorded meeting in an agentic room leaves a speaker-labelled transcript in the room's language. Transcripts play in sync with the recording, and they are the source the AI project manager writes the AI minutes from. Room Owners and Editors open Transcripts from the Room Apps picker under the Meetings band.

Which meetings get a transcript

Every recorded meeting with AI transcribe on for the room — online calls, in-person meetings recorded on a device, and calls the agent joins as a meeting bot. The room owner sets one language for the room, its transcripts and its AI minutes. See Language settings.

How to open a transcript

  1. Open the Room Apps picker and select Transcripts.
  2. Select a meeting from the list. A recording still being prepared shows Processing.
  3. The transcript opens beside the recording. Lines are grouped by speaker with their name and the time into the meeting.
  4. Click any line to jump the recording to that moment; the current line is highlighted as it plays.
tip

From the AI minutes, a highlight, decision or action item opens the recording and transcript at the moment it was said. See How AI minutes are generated.

How to copy, download or share a transcript

  1. In Transcripts, select More options on the meeting.
  2. Choose one of:
    • Copy transcript — plain text.
    • Copy (VTT) — caption format.
    • Download (PDF) or Download (VTT).
    • Send mail — email it from the room.
    • Play recording, View room or View schedule.

Protected meetings

A meeting that is password protected shows Password Protected Meeting; enter the password and select Submit to read it. A recording that is owner locked opens only for the room owner.

Speakers in in-person meetings

Online calls are labelled by participant. In in-person meetings speakers are separated by voice, and the room owner can assign each voice to a room member; the minutes are then regenerated with the right names. See Voice diarization.
