The Mail room app is coming soon. This page describes what it will do.
Mail will bring the email about a room's work into the room it belongs to. A room will not get a mailbox of its own: it tracks a list of addresses and shows their mail from the Gmail or Outlook account you connect.
What Mail will do
- Track addresses and domains — pick room members, contacts or recent correspondents, or follow a whole domain such as @company.com.
- Room or only you — share a tracked address with the room or keep it to yourself.
- Forward to room — send a thread, with its attachments, into one or more rooms, where it is posted to the chat and gets its own conversation.
- Attachments to Files — attachments forwarded to a room are stored in that room's Files.
- Compose and reply from the room, with formatting, attachments, signatures and drafts.
- Hand an email to the agent — the AI project manager summarises a thread, drafts a reply, turns requests into tasks or schedules the meeting an email asks for, when you ask it to.
