Apps dock, Recent and pins
Every room card has a toolbar with an apps dock: a short row of the apps the room uses most, an Apps button for everything else, and a Recent strip of the apps you opened last. The room's owner can also pin one app for everyone in the room. Everyone in the room sees the dock and Recent; only the person who created the room can pin an app.
What is in the dock
The dock holds five apps chosen by the kind of room:

In a project room that keeps time, Time takes the Files slot once the room owner has finished setting up TimeTrack. Files is always one tap away in the Apps picker.
A badge on a dock app shows how many unread items it has.
How to open an app from the dock
- Open a room.
- Select an app in the toolbar dock to open it.
- Select Apps to open the Room Apps picker with every other app.
During a full-screen meeting on a phone, the dock folds into a small capsule over the video so the call stays in view. Tap the capsule (or swipe up on the video) to unfold it, then tap an app. The dock folds again when you open an app or tap outside it.
Recent apps
The Recent strip under the dock shows the last three apps you opened in this room, wherever you opened them from: the dock, the picker or a chip. The same list appears as the Recent band at the top of the Room Apps picker.
- Recent is kept per room, so a sales room and a build room each remember their own apps.
- Your Recent list follows you to your other devices.
- Search, Share, Analytics and Settings describe the room itself and are never added to Recent.
How to pin an app for everyone
The room's owner can pin one app that says what the room is for. The pinned app shows as a chip with a pin mark beside Recent, in the Room Apps picker and on the room's row in the workspace tree.
- Open the room and select Apps.
- On the tile of the app you want to pin, select the pin icon (Pin for everyone in this room).
- A message confirms the app is pinned for everyone in this room.
To unpin it, select the pin icon on the same tile again (Unpin).
Only the person who created the room can pin an app, even if other people in the room also have the Owner role. Apps in the This room band and Agent History cannot be pinned.
