Tables

Tables hold a room's structured, operational data — leave requests, vendors, candidates, orders — inside the agentic room that runs the process. Columns can hold real people and real approvals, every row can carry its own conversation, and the room's AI project manager reads and writes rows with the same permissions a person has. Everyone in the room can open Tables from the Room Apps picker under the Records band; who can create tables is set by the room owner.

How to create a table

  1. Open the Room Apps picker and select Tables.
  2. Select the + at the end of the table tabs (New table, import data or forms), then New table.
  3. Enter a Table name and design the columns — or use Or describe it and the agent will design it.
  4. Optionally keep the form that is created with the table, so people can submit rows. See Forms.
  5. Select Create table.
note

In the room's Settings › Tables & forms, the room owner chooses Who can create tables — Owner only or Owner & hosts — and what Editors and Guests can do in new tables (for example Can add rows and edit their own). The room owner always has full access.

How to import data

  1. In Tables, select + › Import data (or Import into this table from an open table's menu).
  2. Pick a source: CSV or TSV, Excel, Paste, Backup (a Tables .json backup), Google Sheet, OneDrive or Airtable.
  3. Map each column to a field, or Skip this column.
  4. Start the import. If the file would exceed the table's limits you are told before anything is written, and you can Download the rejected rows.

How to work with records and views

  1. Select Add record to add a row, or edit cells directly.
  2. Use Filter, Sort and Group to shape the view, then Set as default view to save it for the team.
  3. Add a view to see the same rows as a grid, kanban (grouped by a select or person column — drag a card to move it), calendar (by any date column) or gallery.
  4. Open a row to see its record, comments and chat.

How to share, sync and export

Open the table's menu:

  • Share — Sync with other rooms, Forward to another room, or Ask the agent · Automations to start an automation when rows change. See Automations.
  • Export — Export CSV, Export Excel or Download backup.
  • Record view — design the single-record view and copy a Record view link.
tip

An approval column sends each row for approval and shows the decision wherever it was made. See Approvals. When an agent workflow runs, its cases land in a table as rows. See Agent workflows.

Deleted records can be shown and are recoverable for 30 days.
