Audio and video settings

Pick the microphone, speaker and camera the room uses for your calls. These are your own settings, so every user can set them for their device.

How to choose your devices​

  1. Open the room and select ⋯ › Room settings.
  2. Select Audio & Video in the left menu.
  3. Choose a device under Microphone/audio devices, Speaker devices and Camera devices.
  4. Close the window. Your choices apply to your next call in the room.

You can also open ⋯ › Audio settings or Video settings, or select Audio/video settings from your own name during a call.

Default join settings​

In the Configure meeting type – agentic room window (opened from the room's meeting row), Default join settings let you choose whether your Microphone and Camera are on when you join, and which device each one uses.

tip

If the room shows Microphone Issue Detected, check for a physical mute button, close other apps using the microphone, or select a different microphone. See Microphone and camera permission.
