Breakout rooms

A breakout room is a sub-room of an agentic room for a smaller group. It has its own chat, notes, tasks, files and meetings, and stays connected to its parent room. Only the room owner can create breakout rooms, and only people already in the main room can be added.

How to create a breakout room​

  1. Open the main room and select ⋯.
  2. Select New breakout room (under Actions), or select Breakout rooms and then Create Breakout Room.
  3. Enter the breakout room name.
  4. Under Breakout room users, choose the people from the main room.
  5. Pick a color, choose In-person if the group meets in person, and optionally select Add schedule.
  6. Select Create breakout room.

How to open a breakout room​

  1. In the main room, select ⋯ › Breakout rooms.
  2. Select the breakout room in the list to open it.

Breakout rooms are not offered in one-on-one rooms, instant rooms, private rooms or inside another breakout room.
