Meeting modes
Every agentic room has a meeting type that decides how its meetings are held and recorded. Whatever the mode, a recorded meeting is transcribed, written up as AI minutes and turned into tasks in the room. The room owner chooses the meeting type when creating the room and can change it at any time.
| Mode | How the room meets | Learn more |
|---|---|---|
| Online | Video and audio calls inside the room, with screen sharing and reactions. Guests join from the room link. | Online room |
| In-person | One phone, tablet or laptop records the meeting around the table; voices are told apart by speaker. | In-person room |
| Bot | The room's agent joins a Google Meet, Zoom or Microsoft Teams call as a bot and brings the recording back. | Meeting bot |
How to change a room's meeting type
- Open the room and select ⋯ › Room settings.
- Select Meeting in the left menu.
- Next to Meeting type, choose Online, In-person or Bot.
- If you chose Bot, the Configure meeting type – agentic room window opens. Select Microsoft Teams, Google Meet or Zoom, paste the meeting link and select Save.
You can also open the same window from the room's meeting row. It shows Online Meeting and In-person Meeting cards, the bot platforms, Default join settings for your microphone and camera, and Use default room type to go back to a regular room.
Only the room owner can change the meeting type. Bot appears when the recording bot is switched on for your company.
Recording and credits
Recording, transcription and AI minutes use meeting credits. Meetings that are not recorded are free. See Credit types.
