Which apps can post into a room's chat?+
259 apps in 14 categories, from GitHub, GitLab, Sentry and Jira to Stripe, HubSpot, Zendesk and Shopify, plus any app or API with public docs. GitHub, GitLab and GitLab Self-Managed have ready, tested recipes; for every other app the room agent reads the app's webhook or API docs and writes the recipe, which is saved for your company.
Who can connect an app?+
A company owner, admin or creator who is also the owner or host of the room, with the agent switched on for the company. The room agent does the setup.
Who can change what an app posts?+
Room owners and hosts, in the app's editor. Editing needs no agent and uses no credits.
Will the app post anything before I have checked it?+
No. A new app is a draft until a person presses Go live in the connector studio. Until then it posts only the tests you send yourself.
How quickly do events arrive?+
Apps with webhooks post the moment the event happens. Apps without webhooks are read every hour.
Why are some messages replies in a thread?+
Events about the same item — one pull request, one incident, one deal — reply into one thread under the first card, so the main chat stays readable.
Can I stop seeing an app's messages without turning it off for everyone?+
Yes. Open the ⋯ menu on one of its messages and select Mute for me. Others still see it.
What is the difference between Disconnect and Delete app?+
Disconnect stops posting and keeps everything, so Connect starts it again. Delete app removes the app from the chat along with the webhook Qik added in the app.
Does Qik change anything in my apps?+
Qik only reads. The one change it makes is adding the webhook for the connection, and removing it when you delete the app.
Does it use agent credits?+
Connecting an app is an agent run and uses agent credits. Posting events and editing the app afterwards use none.
How many chat apps can we connect?+
Prime Office and Business Office include 1 chat app per room and 5 chat connectors across the company. AI Office Pro is unlimited. Enterprise companies turn chat apps on with Qik.
Can we turn chat apps off for the whole company?+
Yes. Company owners and admins use the Chat apps switch in Company settings › Company chats. Nothing is deleted, and turning it back on connects the apps again.
