Google Calendar
Connect a Google account and the calendars you pick flow onto your Qik schedule. The sync runs one way, from Google Calendar into Qik: confirmed events from today onward arrive with their title, description, times, attendees and recurrence, and changes in Google update your schedule as they happen. Any user can connect their own calendars, unless the company has switched Google Calendar off.
How to connect Google Calendar
- Select the calendar icon in the left rail (View schedule).
- Select Calendars. The Synced calendars panel opens.
- Under Sync New Calendar, select Google.
- Sign in with Google.
- In Import Calendar, select the calendar you want to import. Calendars you already imported are greyed out.
Repeat for each calendar you want. Each one is listed under Connected with its name.
How to move an event into a room
- Open a synced event on your schedule.
- Choose one:
- Create Agentic room — start a new room around the meeting.
- Add to room — pick an existing room, choose the room users and the role for each guest, and select Move to room.
- Attach to private room — file it in your private room.
- If the event has a Google Meet, Zoom or Teams link, a recording bot is scheduled to join it once it is in a room. The recording, transcript and AI minutes land in that room.
A Google Meet event shows Join, a copy button and View in Google Calendar ↗, so you can join from Qik.
How to remove a calendar
- Open Calendars › Synced calendars.
- Select the trash icon beside the calendar and confirm.
Its events leave your personal schedule. Meetings you already added to a room stay in that room. You can also remove it in Profile settings › Connected apps › ⋯ › Delete.
Syncing is free. Recording, transcription and AI minutes use meeting credits.
