Zoho Projects is coming to the room’s boards
A Zoho Projects connection is on the way. It will meet a room that already plans in tasks, boards, milestones and sprints, with an AI project manager that keeps them current after every meeting, and a Jira sync that shows how a project tool and a room share the same work.

The AI project manager is ready for it today
Everything a Zoho Projects sync would connect to already runs in the agentic room, driven by conversational intelligence.
- 01
Meetings become tasks
Action items in the room’s AI minutes arrive as tasks, assigned to the person named and grouped under the meeting they came from.
- 02
Boards catch up with the conversation
The agent reads each meeting against the board and proposes new tasks, status changes and due dates for you to accept.
- 03
Sprints drafted from planning
When a meeting plans new work, the agent drafts a sprint with its name, dates and tasks, ready to edit before it is created.
What a Zoho Projects sync will plug into
The room’s project management is free, and all of it is live now while the Zoho Projects connection is built.
Room tasks
Lists, statuses, assignees, subtasks and due dates, with calendar and Gantt views of the same work.
Boards in your statuses
Columns come from the room’s task statuses, so moving a card changes the task everywhere it appears.
Milestones and sprints
Each room plans in boards, milestones or sprints. Only the words change, so a room can switch without losing anything.
Backlog and carry-over
Keep unscheduled work in a backlog, then carry unfinished tasks into the next sprint or milestone when one closes.
Jira sync as the model
Rooms already sync with Jira, one project per room, with each sprint’s direction chosen sprint by sprint.
Company-governed integrations
Integrations are allowed or blocked by the company, and only room owners and hosts connect a room to a project tool.
The pieces already in place
Two of these run in rooms today. The third is a preview of the Zoho Projects connection, clearly marked.

Zoho Projects preview
A concept of picking the Zoho project a room will follow.
How a project tool syncs with a room today
The Jira integration is the pattern project tools follow in Qik Office: one project per room, imported work as room tasks, and you in charge of what travels.
One project per room
An owner or host signs in once and picks the project the room works on.
Imported work is room work
Issues arrive as tasks on the room’s board, so the AI project manager plans and reports on them with everything else.
Direction, sprint by sprint
Each imported sprint starts one way into the room; turn on push and edits in the room travel back.
Minutes reach the backlog
Action items from the room’s meetings can be created straight in the project backlog.

This is how Jira syncs with a room today; Zoho Projects is planned on the same pattern.
Where Zoho Projects will fit
The loop below runs in every agentic room today; Zoho Projects joins it as another place the work can live.
Work is discussed
The agent writes the minutes, with action items assigned to the people named.
It becomes tasks
Action items land as room tasks with owners and due dates.
It is planned
Tasks move into a board, milestone or sprint and across its columns.
Zoho Projects, coming
The connection will keep a Zoho project and the room’s plan pointing at the same work.
Who runs on Zoho Projects
Client milestones in the room
Plan each client on dated milestones with sign-off today, ready to meet the client’s Zoho project when the sync arrives.
Meetings that update the plan
Weekly reviews turn into tasks and board proposals automatically, so the plan is current before anyone opens a project tool.
Sprints with the agent
Run sprints with backlog, burndown and carry-over in the room, and sync with Jira today where the team already uses it.
Zoho Projects, answered
Not yet. It is coming soon. Everything it will connect to — room tasks, boards, milestones, sprints and the AI project manager — is available in every agentic room today, free of agent credits for manual planning.
The plan is for a room to follow a Zoho project the way rooms follow a Jira project today: the project’s work arriving as room tasks, with you choosing what travels back. The details will be shared on this page when it launches.
Yes. Zoho Calendar syncs with room schedules now, so your Zoho events already appear in the rooms they belong to.
Yes. Plan in boards, milestones or sprints, let the agent turn meeting action items into tasks, and use the Jira integration if part of your team works there.
It is planned to follow the rule room integrations follow today: your company decides whether it is allowed, and room owners and hosts make the connection.
