Any app with an API, connected by the agent

Your in-house tools, regional apps and niche services join your AI Office the same way the big ones do. Name the app; the AI project manager reads its docs, writes the setup, guides the sign-in and tests it before you keep it.

// written by the agent from docs.acme-erp.com

app: "Acme ERP"

signin: { type: "bearer", permission: "orders:read" }

read: GET /v2/orders?updated_after={{cursor}}

rows: data[*] → id, customer, total, status, created_at

events: order.created, order.refunded

How the agent builds it

From docs to a tested connection

  1. 01

    Reads the official docs

    Give the agent the app’s name or its docs link. It reads the public API and webhook pages, and every endpoint and event it uses must appear on a page it read.

  2. 02

    Writes the setup

    A recipe of plain data: the requests, the pages of results, the fields and, for chat, the events and how each card reads. No code runs.

  3. 03

    Guides the sign-in

    Key, token or OAuth, the way the app’s docs say, with the steps, the smallest permission and the official page to check. For OAuth, admins add the company’s own app.

  4. 04

    Tests it on real data

    Dashboards run against real rows before a chart is drawn; chat apps render a sample card. You keep it, or Go live, when it looks right.

  5. 05

    Reused by your company

    The setup is saved for your company, so every other room starts from it without the agent writing it again.

Safe by design

Connected with care, controlled by your admins

Keys sealed in the vault

Every key and sign-in is encrypted in Qik’s vault. The agent works with a handle and never sees the key itself.

Sent only to the app

A key goes only to the hosts it was made for. A recipe naming any other address is refused before a request leaves Qik.

Read, never written back

Qik reads from your apps and leaves their data as it is. The one thing a chat app adds is its own webhook, removed when you delete the app.

Your office, your rules

Company admins switch any app off for the whole office or allow listed apps only. Every member can mute an app’s posts for themselves.

Questions

Custom APIs, answered

Yes. Any app with a public API can feed AI dashboards, and any app with webhooks or an API can post into a room’s chat. Ask the agent for it by name or paste its docs link.
