A milestone plan goes stale the moment a meeting changes it. In a project room, conversational intelligence reads each recorded meeting against the plan, and the agent can change the plan itself when you ask.

Proposes milestones from meetings
When a recorded meeting plans new work, the agent drafts a milestone with its name, dates and tasks on a card you can edit before it is created — alongside status changes, due dates and tasks to mark complete.

Ask the agent to create a milestone, make one wait on another, or set its rules — sign-off, what happens to open work, a cap on work in progress — and it does it in the room.

The agent reads the current milestone with its task counts, so “are we on track for the beta?” gets an answer from the room’s own data.
An outcome with a date, not a box that refills
Milestones share the board, statuses and tasks every room has. What changes is the default view, the rules each milestone runs under, and the unit the project is measured in.
Dated targets
Each milestone has a start, an end and its own tasks, with done and open counts on it. Undated work waits in Not scheduled until it is planned into one.
Timeline by default
The Boards hub opens Milestones on a zoomable timeline centred on today. Each bar fills as its tasks finish, late ones show how many days over, and owners drag a bar’s end to move its date.
Milestones that wait on each other
Start after another finishes, start with it, or finish after it — blocking or advisory. Links are drawn as connectors, and a date that contradicts a link is flagged in amber.
Done means done
A milestone refuses to complete while tasks are open, unless you change its rule. Add named people who must sign off, and freeze its tasks once it is completed.
Hours against a budget
Where TimeTrack is on, milestones read in hours: logged against budget, a warning threshold, an optional hard stop, and a forecast at completion that allows for tasks nobody has estimated.
Opens on the work
A project room opens on its current milestone and a card per member with their open and overdue tasks, instead of an empty video grid. Joining a call switches to the meeting.
Set the rules, see the verdict
Each milestone has a rules panel: choices on one side, and on the other a live statement of what the milestone can and cannot do right now — drawn from the same check the server enforces.
Finishing
Open work at the end can be refused, carried on, or asked about. Milestones refuse by default, so completing one means its work is finished.
Sign-off
Name the people who must approve before the milestone can be completed.
Order
Make it wait on another milestone, blocking or advisory, and see “Waiting for Beta release to finish” wherever it is held.
Scope
Decide what happens to work added after it starts, require an owner and a due date on every task before it can start, and cap tasks in progress.

A milestone is an outcome that completes; a sprint is a time box that rolls. Milestones open on the timeline, refuse to complete while work is open and read in hours. Sprints open on cadence, carry open work into the next sprint, complete themselves when the last task is done and plan in points. Switching keeps every task and number.

A milestone can wait on another to finish before it starts, start alongside it, or finish only after it. A blocking link refuses the action and says why; an advisory link is shown and refuses nothing.
