Your Teams channels, arriving as agentic rooms

TeamsSynced from Teams
Teams conversations become room context
Once a channel is a room, conversational intelligence works on what is said there the same way it works on the room’s own chat and meetings.
- 01
Channel history, ready on day one
The import brings a channel’s past messages and their replies into the room, so the agent starts with the conversation that already happened.
- 02
New messages land as they are posted
Each new post, reply, edit and deletion in the channel reaches the room’s chat, marked as synced from Teams, beside the room’s tasks, notes and minutes.
- 03
Teams meetings, minuted by the agent
Paste a Teams meeting link into the room and the meeting bot joins, records and hands the recording to the room for transcripts and AI minutes.
A team becomes a workspace, a channel becomes a room
The import maps Microsoft Teams onto the AI Office’s own structure, then keeps listening for changes.
Teams as workspaces
Each team you pick becomes a workspace, or joins one you already have. Rename it before import and choose its owners.
Channels as rooms
Pick the channels to bring in; each becomes an agentic room in that workspace, named after the channel, with its owners chosen by you.
Members and roles carry over
Teams owners become room owners, members become hosts and guests become users. People without a Qik account are added by their Teams identity.
Messages and replies
Channel history arrives in the room’s chat with its threads intact, under the name of the person who wrote each message.
Stays in step
New messages, edits and deletions follow automatically. A channel created later in a linked team appears as a new room on its own.
A bot for Teams meetings
The room recognises Teams meeting links, and the meeting bot can join now, join with you, or join at a time you schedule.
How Teams shows up inside the room
Three small pieces of the integration, each working the way the product does.
Room role
Host
Works the room’s tasks, notes and meetings alongside the owner.
Roles carry over
Pick a Teams role to see the room role its people receive on import.
Room chat
Post in Teams to see it arrive.
Edits stay in step
Post, edit or delete in Teams, and the room’s copy follows.

Bot on Teams calls
Choose how the meeting bot joins; the room writes the minutes after.
Choose what comes across, then watch it arrive
Connect a Microsoft account and the import lists every team you belong to, with its channels and their members, before anything is created.
Pick teams and channels
Select whole teams or individual channels; member counts sit beside each so you know who will follow.
New or existing workspace
Bring a team in as a new workspace, or place its channels into a workspace the company already runs.
Rename and set owners
Edit workspace and room names, and choose their owners, before you press Import selected.
Progress you can follow
Workspaces and rooms appear in the office as they are created, while the import log shows each step.

Tick channels, then import — each one becomes an agentic room.
From a Teams channel to work the room owns
Teams keeps the conversation going. The agentic room turns it into plans, minutes and tasks.
A channel is imported
The channel becomes a room, with its members and message history.
Messages keep arriving
New posts and replies from Teams appear in the room’s chat as they are written.
The meeting is minuted
The bot records the Teams meeting and the agent writes the AI minutes.
Actions become tasks
Action items from the minutes land as tasks, assigned to the people named.
Who runs on Microsoft Teams
Move a Teams tenant into rooms
Bring a department’s teams and channels across in one import, with owners, members and history already in place.
Keep chatting in Teams, plan in the room
The channel stays where the team talks; the room holds the same messages beside the board, minutes and tasks.
Minutes for every Teams call
Send the bot to client calls held on Teams and get transcripts and AI minutes in the client’s room.
Microsoft Teams, answered
A company owner. They connect a Microsoft account, pick the teams and channels, and choose the workspaces, rooms and owners they become. The integration also has to be turned on for the company.
They are added to the room by their Teams identity, with the role that matches their Teams role, and their messages appear under their own name.
From Teams into the room. New messages, replies, edits and deletions in a synced channel reach the room’s chat, where each one carries a Synced from Teams mark. Messages written in the room stay in the room.
If its team was imported, the channel arrives as a new room in that workspace automatically, linked to the channel and ready for its messages.
Yes. Add the Teams meeting link to the room and choose Send bot now, Join with bot or Schedule for later. Once someone admits it from the lobby, it records the meeting and the room produces the transcript and AI minutes.
