AI meeting assistant settings
Each room has its own settings for what the AI project manager does with meetings. The room Owner decides whether meetings are recorded and transcribed. The owner also decides whether minutes are written, tasks assigned and the minutes emailed, and sets the language. Other roles see these settings greyed out.
How to open the settings
- Open the room's settings. See Room settings.
- Under Meeting, select the Recording tab or the AI Minutes tab. Both show the same settings.
Automation
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Autopilot | The agent runs minutes, tasks and email for you. |
| Auto-record | Starts recording an online meeting when 2 or more people join. |
| AI transcribe | Converts speech to text. |
| AI minutes | Summarises key decisions. It writes the AI minutes and needs AI transcribe. |
| Assign tasks | Assigns tasks from the meeting and sets due dates. It needs AI minutes. |
| Email minutes | Sends the minutes to all attendees. |
| Jira backlog | Sends action items to your connected Jira backlog. |
| Custom automations | Runs your own room automations after a meeting. See Automations. |
Recording
- Save recording file: turn it off to keep the transcript and minutes without storing the video.
- Recording file layout: choose Grid or Single speaker for new recordings.
Minutes and language
- Minutes shows the template the room's minutes use. Select Customize to change it. See Choose a minutes template.
- Room language, under Room & AI minutes language, sets one language for the room, its transcripts and its AI minutes.
tip
You can override these defaults for a single meeting in the schedule's Meeting options.
info
