Whiteboards

Whiteboards gives every room shared drawing boards. Everyone on a board sees each change as it happens, along with the other people's cursors. Each board is saved to the room, next to the chat, notes and meetings it belongs to. Everyone in the room can open boards. Owners and Editors create them.

The canvas includes rectangles, diamonds, ellipses, arrows, lines, freehand drawing, text and images on an infinite canvas.

How to create a whiteboard​

  1. Open the room and select Whiteboards from the room's apps.
  2. Select New whiteboard. In your private space, the button is New private whiteboard.
  3. Enter a name in Enter whiteboard name.
  4. Draw. Changes save to the room as you go, and the card's preview updates.

How to export a whiteboard​

  1. Open the board and open the canvas menu.
  2. Select Export as image or Export as PDF. You can also change the Canvas background here.

How to forward whiteboards​

  1. In Whiteboards, tick one or more boards.
  2. Select Forward and choose the room to send them to.

Board options​

Select More on a board card to see these options:

  • Edit name
  • Forward
  • Request approval, which sends the board for sign-off. See Approvals.
  • Delete whiteboard

Owners can use these options on any board. Editors can use them on the boards they created.
