Simple Notes and AI prompts
Simple Notes is the quick way to write in a room: rich-text notes in one list, saved as you type and synced live to everyone who has them open. Each note can carry an AI notes prompt bar that writes new text or reworks what is already there. Anyone in the room can open the room's notes, and anyone who can edit a note can use its AI prompts.
Simple Notes or Knowledge Pages
The room's owner chooses how the room writes:

The app is called Notes or Pages in the room's apps to match the view.

Only room owners can change the view preference. The change reaches everyone in the room straight away, and nothing already written is lost.
How to use the AI prompt bar in a note
- Open a note in the room's Notes.
- Select the AI notes button (the magic wand) in the note's top bar. The prompt bar opens above the note.
- Choose a prompt type from the list (see below).
- Type your prompt, if the type takes one, and select the button beside it (for example Generate, Summarize or Fix it).
- The AI's text is placed before, after or in place of your note, depending on the type.
- To go back, select Undo AI generated notes; select Redo AI generated notes to bring it back.
Prompt types

The Use content toggle controls whether the note's current text is sent with your prompt.
How to create a Simple Note
- Open a room and select Notes.
- Select New note.
- Give it a title and start typing. The note saves automatically.
