Google Sheets dashboards and chat alerts in Qik Office
Build live Google Sheets dashboards from sheet table and post Google Sheets events into the room’s chat as cards your team can act on. The AI project manager in your room sets it up, tests it on real data and hands it to you ready to use.

AI dashboards
Live Google Sheets dashboards
Any tab or range of a Google Sheet as a table; the first row names the columns. Rows from a shared sheet as live charts, refreshed on a schedule.
What the agent reads
- Sheet table
- 61 chart types, from headline numbers and trends to funnels, maps and pivot tables
- Join Google Sheets with your rooms and other apps in one query
- Read live, or keep a synced table refreshed hourly or daily
- Sign in on Google Sheets’s own screen and approve the access Qik asks for.
Chat apps
Google Sheets in the room’s chat
Hourly: Qik reads Google Sheets every hour and posts what is new.
The agent reads Google Sheets’s webhook and API docs and lists every event it offers. You switch on the ones the room should see.
- Filters per event, such as branch, project, label or amount
- A card, a compact line or a digest, with your own wording
- Updates to the same item reply in one thread
- Every card: Open in Google Sheets, Make a task, Ask agent
Connect Google Sheets in minutes
Qik has already written and tested the Google Sheets setup, so the agent starts from it.
- 01
Ask the agent
Name the app in any agentic room. The AI project manager starts from Qik’s tested setup, or reads the app’s official docs and writes one.
- 02
Sign in once
A guided sign-in card shows where to make the key and the smallest permission it needs. Keys are sealed in the vault; the agent never sees them.
- 03
Pick and test
Choose your own projects, boards or accounts from a list. The connection is tested on real data before anything is kept.
- 04
Go live
Dashboards draw their charts; chat apps stay a draft until a room owner or host presses Go live. Edit events and charts any time.
Say it in a sentence. The room does the rest.
Type any of these to the AI project manager in an agentic room. It picks the setup, shows the sign-in card and lets you choose your own accounts and projects from a list.
- Post new files in our Google Sheets folder into this room
- A dashboard from our Google Sheets sheet
- Tell the room when the Google Sheets doc changes
Connected with care, controlled by your admins
Keys sealed in the vault
Every key and sign-in is encrypted in Qik’s vault. The agent works with a handle and never sees the key itself.
Sent only to the app
A key goes only to the hosts it was made for. A recipe naming any other address is refused before a request leaves Qik.
Read, never written back
Qik reads from your apps and leaves their data as it is. The one thing a chat app adds is its own webhook, removed when you delete the app.
Your office, your rules
Company admins switch any app off for the whole office or allow listed apps only. Every member can mute an app’s posts for themselves.
Works well beside Google Sheets
Google Sheets and Qik Office, answered
Ask the AI project manager in any agentic room, for example “Post new files in our Google Sheets folder into this room”. The agent prepares the connection, shows a sign-in card, tests it on real data and hands you a draft. For chat, a room owner or host presses Go live when the events look right.
