User access and roles
Everyone in Qik Office has a role at three levels: in the company, in each workspace they belong to, and in each room they are in. The company role decides what you can set up; workspace and room roles decide what you can do inside them.

Company roles
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything an admin can, plus the subscription, the company account and converting the office type. |
| Admin | Full control: Company settings, people and roles, departments, reporting heads, policies, goals, security, AI Office Management, and every workspace. |
| Creator | Create agentic rooms and project rooms, and — when Can create workspaces is on — their own workspaces. Assign people to what they create. |
| Employee (or User) | Work in the workspaces and rooms they are added to. |
Owners, admins and creators are members and carry agent credits; employees are free and work without agent credits of their own. Some people also hold extra company duties without being admins: policy admin, goal admin, minutes admin, workflow admin and reporting head.

Workspace roles
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Manage members, rooms and settings. |
| Editor | Create and edit rooms and content. |
| User | View and participate. |
In a department workspace, heads are shown as Head · Owner and employees as Employee · User, and members are managed by company admins from Departments.
Only someone with a higher company role (admin or creator) can be made a workspace Owner.

Room roles
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Manage the room: its users and roles, settings, apps, agent and meetings. |
| Editor | Run the room day to day — meetings, content and, when allowed, adding people. |
| User | Take part in the room's meetings, chat, tasks, notes and files. |
| Guest | Join what they are invited to, without being a room user. |
Who can add people to rooms is set company-wide in Restrictions. See Room roles for the full detail.
