Boards hub
The Boards hub is the front door to a room's plan. It lists every milestone, sprint or board in the room on the left, and on the right draws them the way the room's method asks. The dock button is named after the method — Milestones, Sprints or Boards — and opens the hub. Everyone in the room can browse it; room Owners and Editors create containers and move their dates.
The three views
Every view is available in every room. The room's method picks the one the hub opens on.
| View | Default for | What it shows |
|---|---|---|
| Timeline | Milestones | Dated, overlapping work on a zoomable timeline centred on today. Each bar fills as its tasks finish, late ones show how many days over, and dependency links are drawn as connectors. |
| Cadence | Sprints | Velocity across finished sprints, where the current one stands — for example, day 6 of 14, on or behind the line — and what opens next. |
| Cards | Boards | Undated boards sorted by last activity, with open tasks, overdue counts and who is on each. |
How to use the hub
- Open the room and select Milestones, Sprints or Boards in the dock.
- Select Timeline, Cadence or Cards at the top to change the view.
- Select a row on the left to focus it in the view. Use the search box to find one by name.
- Select Held to show completed milestones, sprints or boards.
- Select Open to go into the kanban board for the selected one.
- To create one, select New milestone, New sprint or New board.
On the Timeline, owners and editors can drag the end of a bar to move its date. Use the zoom control to see more or less of the calendar.
For a Gantt-style view of dated work, use the Timeline. It draws each milestone or sprint as a bar, with its progress and its links.
Sprint dashboard
From a kanban board, select Analytics to open the dashboard for that milestone, sprint or board.
- Summary — total, completed, in progress and overdue tasks.
- Burndown — ideal against actual points (or tasks) left for each day.
- Velocity — completed against planned points per sprint.
- Distribution — Status Distribution and User Distribution.
- Tasks Trend and Activity Heatmap — tasks created against tasks completed, and when the work happened.
Filter the dashboard by member with All Members.
How to export to Excel
