Agent Center

The Agent Center is where you command the room's AI agent. Type or speak a goal, and the agent turns it into a plan and executes each step in the room's apps while you watch. Only the room Owner can make the agent plan and execute; Editors can open the Agent Center, and other members see it disabled.

How to open the Agent Center

  • Select the agent prompt bar at the top of the room. It reads Command agent (AI Assistant or AI Executive), Ask agent (AI Project Manager) or Project agent (in a project room).
  • Or open More apps and select Agent Center.

The parts of the prompt bar

  • Role pill — the brain pill shows the agent's role, such as AI Project Manager. Owners select it to change the role. See Agent roles.
  • Prompt box — "Tell the agent what to do in this room…".
  • Speak — the waveform button takes your command by voice.
  • Auto / Manual — whether the agent executes directly or proposes each change. See Auto and Manual.
  • Privacy — the globe means Public — visible to the room; the lock means Private — visible only to you.
  • Agent Credits — the credits you have left. Select it for details.
  • History — opens Agent History.
  • Automation — tick it to build something that keeps happening on its own.
  • Attach files — the paperclip hands the agent files to work from.
  • Execute — runs the command (it reads Build when Automation is ticked).

How to give the agent a command

  1. Open the Agent Center in the room.
  2. Type what you want done, or select Speak and say it.
  3. Optionally select Attach files and choose Upload file, Attach room file, Attach a table or Camera.
  4. Choose Auto or Manual, and select the globe or lock to make the run public or private.
  5. Select Execute.
  6. Watch the plan run step by step, each with its status and outcome. In Manual mode, approve or reject each proposed change.
  7. When the run shows Executed, reply in the box below to continue, or select New command.
note

Emails are always yours to send: when you ask for an email, the agent drafts it and you open it in compose and press Send yourself.

How to build an automation from the Agent Center

  1. Tick Automation in the prompt bar.
  2. Describe what should happen on its own, for example "Every Monday at 9, list overdue tasks and remind their owners".
  3. Select Build. The agent drafts an automation for the room.

Select Show automations to see what the room already does on its own. See Room automations.

info

Workflow admins also see a Workflow checkbox to design a company process people take part in. See Agent workflows.

note

Commands use command credits, and the amount depends on how much work the command takes. When no agent credits remain, Execute is disabled. See Credit types.
